Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our team in the concrete yard. This position involves a range of physical tasks, including the handling of materials, operating machinery, and assisting with day-to-day yard operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to perform physical labor, and ensure that the yard remains organized, safe, and efficient.

• Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials such as sand, cement, aggregates, and other concrete products.
• Ensure that materials are stored in their proper places and assist with inventory management.
• Operate basic machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or wheel loaders, to transport materials within the yard (if trained).
• Assist in the preparation of concrete materials for batching and production.
• Help with the cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the concrete yard.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are stored safely and properly.
• Support the production team by handling and moving concrete products, ensuring they are correctly placed for drying, curing, or further processing.
• Ensure that safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist in the overall maintenance of the yard, including sweeping, washing equipment, and clearing debris.
• Follow the instructions of supervisors and assist with tasks across the yard as needed.
• Assist with quality control by ensuring that materials meet the required specifications before they are used in production.
