FULL UK DRIVERS LICENCE ESSENTIAL.

We are looking for someone to join our busy team. We carry out a variety of waste projects but do not do municipal collections - we are not after “bin collectors”.

On any normal day you will be on the road in one of our Transit based vehicles and you could be:

• Emptying an overflowing bin store
• Collecting fly tipped waste
• Clearing a house, garage, garden or shed for a private customer
• Supporting our specialist environmental team by clearing waste at a customer’s property prior to them cleaning
• Removing hoarding or clutter
• Collecting confidential waste for shredding
• Emptying waste/dog bins, litter picking and tidying residential or commercial estates’

You will come across a variety of waste streams and be expected deal with some fairly unpleasant situations, all with full support and PPE.
Sometimes you have to deal with human waste and clinical waste like needles.
If you have experience or a suitable skill set there may be training opportunities to work with our other teams in a “hybrid” capacity, for example doing grounds maintenance, basic handyman jobs or some pest control.
You will often deal with clients so you will be polite and respect our company values where customer service comes first.
You will be fit and capable of carrying out physical tasks and you will be expected to drive our LGV’s so you must have a valid driving licence. We have a base at Faversham but you will be expected to work at any location in Kent or sometimes further afield.
