In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 40+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.

YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking an Aviation Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a Fixed Term part time capacity.

As a Medical Officer – AVMO, you’ll make a positive impact by:

• You will be responsible for the delivery of medical services including aviation-based services such as fitness to fly assessments, aviation medicals and aircrew clinical health management to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.
• You will be required to provide medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit (JHU) Commanding Officer (CO), Joint Health Command (JHC) Health Centre Manager and Commanders of units.
• You may be required to provide the services in either an outpatient setting or as inpatient care within a hospital or medical centre
