About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 40+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. Make a real impact supporting Australia’s Defence personnel Join Serco’s ADF Health Services team as a Medical Officer / General Practitioner and provide high-quality medical care to Defence members at Gaza Ridge Health Centre. You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team. About Gaza Ridge Health Centre The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana 3693 near Wodonga. The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army’s Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas. This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members. The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). Your Impact We are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a Permanent Part Time capacity, working 2 days per week (Monday & Thursday) or Casual opportunity available. As a Medical Officer, you will: Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support Provide medical technical advice to Defence leadership Work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed What You’ll Need Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration Minimum 2 years’ full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years Australian Citizen – for Baseline Security Clearance requirements Why Join Us?
