Job Location: High River, ABJob Type: Full TimeShift(s) Available: 1st - 2ndCompensation: $23.80/hr Benefits Information Paid Vacation Extended Health & Dental Vision Care Pension Plan Short-term Disability and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Principal Accountabilities Working in a harvest and fabrication environment Perform specific and precise functions on the production floor Work may include specific slaughtering tasks such as hide removal and eviscerating carcasses on a fast-paced moving chain or removing bone from meat, trimming fat and cutting it to particular specifications on a fast-paced moving conveyor belts All duties must be performed in a safe manner and wear all Personal Protective Equipment’s that are provided for the specific tasks Required Qualifications Must be currently legal to work in Canada Must be 18 years or older Must be comfortable with picking, sorting, labeling, bagging, boxing, and packing meat products Must be able to push, pull and lift product weighing 20lbs – 60lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation Please note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.
