General Information: Title: Production Worker Pay Range: Based on current pay schedule Schedule: Based on current production needs (M-F) Reports to: Department Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Always fallow all Safety and knife safety regulations Do daily stretching exercises at the beginning of shift and at breaks if needed. Safely and properly work on your product to the specifications of the department at different speeds depending on process control. Ensure you are following all humane handling rules and regulations Ensure that your work area is kept clean Work in other areas when necessary to assist department and prevent line slow/stop Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk on cement floors 8-10 hours a day with rest breaks Ability to handle/push/pull/ beef constantly Ability to handle cold/hot temperatures of room lift up to 80lbs frequently. Must be able to hold knife and hook continuously during work production time Must be able to wear the required PPE for the job. Must be able to use all safety equipment required Work enticement: While preforming these job duties the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts The employee is regularly exposed to high noise enticements The employee is regularly exposed to chemicals used in the prosses of plant operations Training Required HR Orientation Safety Training Job Description Department SOP’s (if applicable) On the job training Education Required: Must meet all the requirements for new hire PPE: Must be able to use all PPE required
