Erie has a selection of excellent public, private and parochial schools, as well as four local universities. • Board-eligible/board-certified • Preferably 2-5 years’ experience in community mental health setting • Three appointments per hour with flexibility to manage acuity • Approximately 18 patients/day • Substance use disorder treatment/interest • Willingness to work primarily with adult and geriatric patients • A strong interest in community mental health and serious mental illness

Responsibilities

The general psychiatrist will join a collaborative team to provide a continuum of care, including nursing, case management, therapy, addiction services, and crisis intervention support for an established practice serving over 7,900 individuals. Responsibilities involve managing patient acuity with approximately three appointments per hour, totaling around 18 patients daily.
