  • Stellantis’ experience is a strong asset.
  • Experience in appraising, purchasing, reconditioning, and marketing used vehicles to generate dealership profit.
  • Proven ability to lead and build a cohesive team by motivating, inspiring, and engaging employees.
  • A team player dedicated to working with leadership and employees to achieve alignment and meet goals.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Results-driven with excellent planning, organization, and execution skills and a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, including tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the variable department and train, support, and coach the sales and finance team throughout the sales process.
  • Manage new and used inventory levels to ensure stock is balanced, appropriate for the market, and optimized for rotation.
  • Analyze client and market trends to determine and order the right stock of new vehicles (color, model, equipment).
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of employees, while fostering future talent development.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring a priority on customer satisfaction to create loyalty and generate referrals.
  • Stay updated on manufacturer products and promotions and communicate any changes to the variable team.
  • Maintain effective communication within the variable department and with other dealership leaders, collaborating to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
