Position Overview We are seeking a driven and customer-focused General Sales Manager to support and execute our A to Z sales process. This role reports directly to the Sales Director and functions similarly to a traditional Desk Sales Manager within the dealership environment. This individual will be responsible for leading from the front—coaching, developing, and holding a team accountable while actively engaging in the sales process to ensure a seamless customer journey from initial contact to final delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed monthly performance goals Drive execution of the A to Z sales process, ensuring consistency and accountability at every stage Actively work alongside the team on deals, customer interactions, and daily sales activities Ensure a high level of customer experience from first touchpoint through delivery Monitor and improve key performance metrics (appointments, show rates, closing ratios, PVR, etc.) Conduct daily one-on-ones, coaching sessions, and performance reviews with team members Maintain strong follow-up practices across showroom, phone, and internet opportunities Partner with the Sales Director on strategy, forecasting, and team performance Ensure compliance with dealership processes, policies, and ethical standards Requirements Qualifications 1+ years of automotive sales experience required (Management, Toyota, Tekion, and / or DriveCentric experience is a BIG plus) Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills Proven ability to work deals and support a high-performing sales floor Competitive mindset with a customer-first approach High level of accountability and attention to detail Valid driver’s license and professional demeanor Valid Occupational License What We Offer Competitive compensation structure Ongoing training and development within the A to Z sales model Growth opportunities within a multi-location dealership group Supportive, team-oriented environment Work Schedule & Environment Full-time position including weekends and holidays as needed.
