Job Responsibilities and Duties: PRIMARY: ● Ensure a great customer experience by performing the shops Quality Control Inspection process. ● Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, including suspension work, tire service, alignments, brake service, general fluid services and auto estimating. ●Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring their satisfaction. ● Utilize mechanical knowledge and expertise to efficiently complete service requests. ●Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure timely completion of work. ●Adhere to dealership standards and guidelines for quality and safety. SECONDARY: ● Driving Company van to pick up parts and shuttle customers as needed. ● Completing Specific Services and Repairs on customer’s vehicles with excellence and precision as directed by Shop Foreman or Manager to assist with service levels. ● Basic knowledge of passenger automobiles in order to identify components in engine compartment and undercarriage for the purpose of checking repairs. ● Skilled in in basic automotive repair skills such as how to change a tire, or how to change oil. ● Ability to get into and out of a vehicle without assistance, including ability to operate/drive a vehicle. ● Must possess a valid US Driver's License and ability to drive with passengers. ● Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance. ● Ability to perform physical maneuvers for various tasks in the shop, such as sweeping, pushing a floor cleaning machine, reaching high and low with hands/arms, and other full body movements as needed to complete job. ● Skilled and able to interact with customers in a professional manner for the purpose of answering general customer questions in person and completing shuttle rides. ● Skilled and able to read/write english on a computer and on paper. ● Skilled and able to perform basic counting and math. ● Ability to perform major and fine motor skill movements in the process of using various tools and techniques for the purpose of repairing and servicing vehicles Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Additional Compensation: Store Discounts Scanner and updates provided by RPM No Weekends Vacation Pay Holiday Pay Health Benefits Work Location: One location Skills: Mechanic experience Typical start time: 8AM Typical end time: 5:30PM Vehicle Type: Cars and light trucks Shop Type: Independent This Company Describes Its Culture as: Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused Stable -- traditional, stable, strong processes People-oriented -- supportive and fairness-focused Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative Other Duties: Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals Basic computer and internet literacy Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.) Drive manual transmission vehicles Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Health insurance Paid training Tuition reimbursement Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Irwindale, CA 91706: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Location Irwindale, California Department Back of the House Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Mid-level Compensation 20-27 per hour
