If you're the kind of person who loves staying busy, loves doing things right, and wants to work with a shop that operates like a well-oiled machine, welcome to Full Throttle. We’re not your average repair shop — we’re a high-performing, high-standard, zero-drama team that was named AAA’s Top Repair Facility in the Nation (2024). And we’re growing. We’re looking for a General Service Technician who can knock out the fundamentals with confidence and is hungry to keep leveling up. If that’s you, let’s talk. What You’ll Do This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting our tech team and delivering top-tier service. You’ll: Assist lube technicians with oil changes, fluid services, and filter replacements Support the digital vehicle inspections process with accuracy and attention to detail Repair tire concerns, mount/balance tires, and install TPMS sensors Work alongside technicians for factory-recommended flush services (transmission, brake, coolant, power steering, induction, etc.) Assist with some light mechanical work including brakes, belts, basic suspension, and small repairs Support workflow efficiency by staying ahead of bay readiness, equipment cleanliness, and timely task execution Rotate tires, torque wheels to spec, and follow established QC standards Work closely with service advisors, techs, and our Quality Control team when completing quality control assessments of all vehicles that leave the shop. Help maintain inventory of fluids, shop supplies, and parts returns Contribute to a clean, safe, organized shop environment Bring a positive, team-driven attitude every single day What We’re Looking For We want someone who brings skill and mindset. Specifically: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an automotive repair facility Your own basic tools (we provide specialty tools & equipment) Strong understanding of maintenance-level and light mechanical repairs Ability to work at a fast pace without cutting corners A teachable, humble attitude — zero ego, all teamwork Reliable, consistent, and committed to excellent work Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Someone who wants to keep growing toward a lube technician role and eventually a flat-rate technician role Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM 75-minute lunch No evenings. No weekends. Ever. Family time actually matters here. The Full Throttle Difference Full Throttle isn’t a shop where techs fight for work or have to guess what’s coming next. We run on: Clear workflow Digital inspections Strong service advisor support (they build ROs & source parts — YOU stay wrenching) A culture built on integrity, growth, and doing things right the first time Benefits Paid vacation & 8-9 paid holidays Health, dental & vision insurance (majority of premium covered by employer) Simple IRA plan with company match Weekly commission opportunities Monthly bonuses Paid training & ongoing professional development Employee discounts Clean, modern facility with excellent equipment A team that wants you to succeed — personally and professionally Pay Competitive hourly rate based on experience & ability Weekly commission opportunities Monthly bonuses We believe great techs should earn great money — and we back that with systems that support high efficiency.
