About the Role Monash Health’s Support Services have an exciting part time role on a ongoing basis within our General Services leadership team at Victorian Heart Hospital. This role is perfect for those with dynamic leadership skills and a positive attitude with a passion for being part of a collaborative patient-focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a General Services Supervisor to make their mark and lead a team of passionate and highly dedicated Patient Service Assistants (PSA) and Environmental Service Assistants (ESA). Reporting to the General Services Manager, this role also includes driving excellence across linen, pest control, washroom, and waste services to ensure operational objectives are met. As a valued and respected team member, you will be welcomed by a truly supportive and inspiring leadership team who encourage upskilling, growth and career development.      We currently have the following opportunity available: Sunday to Wednesday 22:30 – 07:00, 64 hours per fortnight     Key responsibilities of General Services Supervisor include but not limited to:   Lead and mentor a team of general services talent  Actively contribute to a positive team culture  Roster management  Achieve accreditation for areas of responsibility  Meet service key performance indicators  Deliver high-quality customer focused services  Manage site-wide cleaning, waste, linen and patient movement requests     About You:To ensure your success in this role, you will bring experience in environmental services within a hospital or commercial cleaning setting with strong demonstrated knowledge of infection control and hygiene practices. You are a reliable and punctual team member with great verbal and written communication skills. Whether you’re work independently or as part of a team; you always follow manual handling, safety protocols, and procedural instructions.
