Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report on-site on a full-time basis.

YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 2+ years of experience within a leadership role.
  • 3-5 years related experience in a Warehouse, Supply Chain, or Operations environment.
  • Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd as dictated by the business.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (including weekends as needed).
  • Computer skills to develop, maintain, and analyze data.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

  • This is a 2nd shift role; however, must have flexibility to work 1st shift as needed* As Leader in Warehousing and Distribution, you will be responsible for the operational function at our distribution center. This position may manage a group of salaried and hourly employees on assigned shift. Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and integrity to support and ensure quality and timeliness of shipments to customers with minimal guidance from superintendent or plant manager. You will model GM’s cultural behaviors and demonstrates the highest level of integrity at all times in addition to the following:

WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Build and maintains good working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management team
  • Monitors safety and good housekeeping standards
  • Participates and provides input during selection of new employees
  • Monitors daily productivity and quality requirements to achieve customer expectations
