Acts on issues and concerns in his activity field immediately. Must be able to control the stocks and other items in his workshop and order more as required. Abides to the daily task and ensures timely implementation. Checks extra needs of a guest. Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Ensures oneself is thoroughly familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur. Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility. Other duties as assigned. Assist in Task Force Teams for new openings Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested. Qualifications Minimum 3 years in a similar role preferably in a Five or Four star Hotel Proven experience in performing routine maintenance tasks and inspections in a similar role. Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols governing facility operations. Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and calibrate various equipment and systems according to manufacturer specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with staff, guests, and external contractors. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.). High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
