Requirements:

  • Anticipated 32-40 hours. No guarantee on weekly hours.
  • Weekly hours are inclusive of one paid 30 min break and one unpaid 30 min break
  • Must be able to provide clear police check.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be able to operate at a height of 6 feet, proper training and safety equipment will be provided
  • Exposure to warm temperatures and humid conditions
  • Must be able to meet physical conditions of the position including being able to bend, squat, kneel, stand for long periods, some lifting required

Responsibilities
  • Sanitation:
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all cultivation and processing equipment, tools, and surfaces to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Dispose of waste products and by-products according to environmental and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain a schedule of regular cleaning and sanitation checks, documenting all cleaning activities.
  • Cultivation:
  • Assist in all phases of cannabis plant cultivation from seed germination to harvesting.
  • Regularly monitor plants for health, growth rates, and signs of pest and disease presence.
  • Adjust environmental controls in growing areas such as lighting, temperature, and humidity to optimize plant growth and health.
  • Apply nutrients, water, and plant treatments under the guidance of a cultivation specialist.
  • Processing:
  • Process harvested cannabis, including trimming, drying, and curing, ensuring high-quality final products.
  • Operate machinery for extracting and preparing cannabis concentrates and edibles.
  • Package and label finished cannabis products ensuring accuracy in strain identification, weight, and compliance labeling.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular quality checks during all stages of cultivation and processing to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Record and report any deviations from quality standards to supervisors and assist in corrective measures.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory related to cultivation inputs (e.g., nutrients, soil) and harvested outputs.
  • Assist in tracking and documenting the chain of custody for all cannabis products.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with state and federal laws and company policies concerning cannabis production.
  • Maintain detailed records of plant care, chemical applications, and production processes.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and improve process efficiencies.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new regulations and company policies.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
  • Perform basic maintenance on cultivation and processing equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or needs for serious repairs to management.
