JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations.
  • Skills in materials handling, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation.
  • Experience with shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of quality control practices within a warehouse setting is desirable.

    Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

    Pay: From £14.50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload goods as necessary.
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels, orders, and shipments.
  • Participate in shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices or packing lists.
  • Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain stock levels by replenishing shelves and ensuring products are stored correctly.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
