The warehouse associate we are looking for will join us in one of three areas of our business whichever has an opening or the best fit. The three areas in our warehouse come together to create and ship our product. Currently we are looking to fill a position in our packaging department.
Packaging: Working from a production list at a workstation each day, this position involves repackaging raw materials into specific package quantities and labeling. Neatness in work and workspace, consistency in product production are essential as well as speed in your work. There is managed lifting involved with assistance available as required. Basic computer skills required. this particular position will require some moderate lifting and good manual dexterity and hand strength.
Picking and Shipping: working from a packing list, this position involves picking product of the correct part number and quantity. Checking the complete order, boxing up all items for safe transport and arranging transportation of the order. Attention to detail is key to this position and the ability to work without being distracted. Basic computer, communication and phone skills required.
Spooling: Working from a production list at a workstation each day, this position involves respooling raw materials (wire) into specific spooled lengths and labeling. Neatness in work workspace and consistency in product production are essential as well as speed in your work. There is lifting required with assistance and aids available
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: willing to work on own and with others, be able to multi-task, and be available full time during the Business Hours of 7:30 – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The majority of duties are carried out in the warehouse. Noise levels are usually moderate. Non-smoking environment. Safety shoes are required
