Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family As an experienced Civil Labourer, join our First Response Road Maintenance based out of our yard in Albany, Auckland. In this all-rounder of a role, you will be involved in cyclic, first response labouring maintenance duties spanning across the Auckland, North network to ensure our roads, footpaths and areas for the public are safe and maintained. In addition to the above, you’ll: Conduct general labouring duties such as shovelling, trenching and pegging Clean culverts, catch pits and sweep away debris Provide Kerb and channel repair along with potholes Maintenance of minor barriers and road signs Attend to emergency call outs on a rostered basis and during standard hours of duty If you have experience, you will operate civil plant and equipment which can includes the operation of an excavator and roller Good Work equals Good Benefits Medical and Life insurance KiwiSaver employer contributions after service milestones up to 7%. We’re looking for someone with: Hold a minimum Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence, Holding a Class 2 and WTR is advantageous for progression to an operator Be experienced in construction industry is ideal Fit and able due to conduct manual labour duties as part of the position Be able to work AM, PM and Night shifts which will include after-hours on rostered basis from 6pm to 6am.
