Job Description: Position Summary: The Senior Human Resources Generalist – India serves as the primary HR partner supporting the Information Technology organization in the Guindy, Chennai location. This role provides strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle and ensures adherence to India-specific statutory requirements. The HR Generalist Sr. will be responsible for employee relations, performance management and the hiring process, including talent acquisition activities, and related compliance steps as defined in the India Hire Procedure. This position will also oversee identity verification, documentation validation, onboarding, leave administration, and offboarding processes using India‑specific policies and templates. Primary Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & India Hire Process Ownership - Coordinates interviews, preparing and extending offers, verification, and Workday processing. Onboarding & Integration - Conducts and oversees India-specific onboarding steps and documentation checks. Oversee and Coordinate Leave Administration HR Operations & Compliance - Maintains employee files, statutory compliance, HRIS coordination & accuracy within the systems used in India. Employee Relations & Engagement - Provides policy guidance, resolves issues, and supports development. Performance Management & Training - Coordinates review cycles and learning programs as necessary. Offboarding & Final Settlement - Executes clearance, F&F settlement, relieving letters, service certificates. Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; HR specialization preferred. Minimum three years HR experience. Knowledge of India HR compliance, HRIS, documentation, TA processes. Proficient in MS office, HRIS and other software programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Work Environment/Work Conditions: Professional office setting.
