As we expand our generator division, we’re seeking a motivated and personable In-Home Generator Sales Representative to help homeowners find the right backup power solutions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an In-Home Generator Sales Representative, you’ll meet directly with homeowners to assess their needs, educate them on generator options, and close sales. This is a commission-only role, ideal for a self-driven sales professional who thrives in a consultative, face-to-face environment and is passionate about helping customers protect their homes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in in-home residential sales (generator, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly way.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and follow-up skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and generator functionality is a plus.

• Conduct scheduled in-home consultations with residential customers.
• Assess property and power needs to recommend appropriate generator solutions.
• Present and explain product options, installation process, and financing.
• Prepare and deliver professional proposals and close sales.
• Follow up with leads and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
