Responsibilities

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to people’s independence and quality of life?
Joining the Community Adult Therapy Service (CATS) as a Generic Therapy Technical Instructor offers the chance to work with patients in their own homes, supporting their recovery and wellbeing. This is a hands-on role where you’ll deliver high-quality therapy interventions for people with a wide range of conditions including medical, orthopaedic, neurological and musculoskeletal.
You’ll help in providing tailored rehabilitation, mobility support and equipment provision, as well as contributing to falls prevention activities such as the ‘Staying Steady Group’, home exercise programmes and functional rehabilitation tasks where appropriate. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Wheelchair and Seating Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide collaborative, patient-focused care.
If you’re compassionate, adaptable and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a varied and supportive environment!
