The Genetic Counselor II will provide genetic counseling services for a variety of cancer syndromes while communicating with patients, other genetic counselors and health care professionals to review family histories and determine eligibility for genetic testing and research protocols. The counselor will be involved in clinical supervision of genetic counseling students. The counselor may be asked to contribute and write newsletter articles and blog posts and give educational talks to other healthcare providers, patients, and lay persons. This position also provides active involvement with protocols involving genetic research and development of patient education materials. Education Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent Required Experience 3 years experience in cancer genetic counseling Required 1 year experience in teaching and/or student supervision Preferred Licenses Amer Bd of Genetic Counseling Required PA Genetic Counselor License Required
