Description

Undertake protected species, habitat and vegetation surveys.
Complete ecological impact assessments and identify environmental risks.
Prepare ecological reports, constraints plans and mitigation strategies.
Provide ecological advice throughout the project lifecycle.
Support ecological licences, permits and environmental consents.
Ensure projects comply with UK environmental legislation and client requirements.
Develop and support biodiversity enhancement and habitat restoration schemes.
Monitor habitats and protected species during project delivery.
Contribute to environmental audits, inspections and KPI reporting.
Liaise with clients, Network Rail, regulators, local authorities and other stakeholders.
Deliver ecological toolbox talks and environmental awareness sessions.
Support Environmental Management Plans and wider HSQE activities.
