We need people who share our passion on solving the problems that matter. With us, you’ll find work that is challenging and rewarding, and you’ll be supported every step of the way.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and driven professional with relevant degree or equivalent, ideally with a post graduate MSc / PhD, relevant professional experience and ideally working towards Chartership with an appropriate professional industry group.
  • Experience of soil and rock logging, soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, ground gas monitoring, Phase 1 and Phase 2 reporting writing and proposal writing is essential. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • You will be able to work independently and within allotted project timescales and budgets. You will have experience of setting up site investigations, including carrying out risk assessments and health and safety management.
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well within a team and with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines at all levels.
  • Experience of detailed quantitative risk assessment, PFAS risk assessment and environmental management of operational sites is desirable.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

You will be responsible for land contamination and environmental assessment projects, including carrying out site work and reporting. Projects will be across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, energy and aviation. You will be providing a range of services relating to environmental and land contamination management, including those relating to sales and acquisitions, planning, permitting and risk management.
The role is based in London but forms part of a UK-wide team undertaking projects across the country. You will be a team player, providing support to other members of the team as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for day-to-day management of site investigations, including setting up site works and carrying out site supervision and sampling as required. This may include borehole drilling, trial pitting, soil, groundwater and surface water monitoring and ground gas monitoring.
  • You will be required to carry out technical reporting of Phase 1 and Phase 2 geo-environmental reports, and other environmental reports as required.
