Job Description The Geochemistry Business Manager is accountable for the overall business performance, commercial growth, and operational excellence of the Geochemistry and Non-Energy laboratories in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L ownership, responsible for scaling laboratory operations in line with Saudi Arabia’s mining expansion (Vision 2030) while delivering sustainable revenue growth, margin protection, and world-class QHSE performance. The role combines commercial leadership, market development, and laboratory operations, acting as the senior interface with key mining clients, regulators, and strategic partners. Business & Commercial Leadership Own and deliver full P&L performance, including revenue growth, cost control, utilization, and margins Define and execute the commercial strategy for geochemistry services in Saudi Arabia Drive business development, contract negotiation, and long-term client relationships Build and manage a robust project pipeline across exploration, development, and production phases Personally engage with key mining companies, EPCs, consultants, and government stakeholders Laboratory Operations & Performance Lead end-to-end laboratory operations across Sample Preparation, Assay, and Multi-Element / Advanced Analysis Ensure laboratories meet production, quality, turnaround time (TAT), and capacity utilization targets Balance volume-driven services with margin-driven analytical offerings Drive continuous improvement in productivity, workflow, and equipment uptime Leadership & Organization Design Design and lead a high-accountability laboratory organization Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing laboratory leaders Lead performance management, succession planning, and talent development Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure strict compliance with QHSE policies, ISO 17025, and local environmental regulations Maintain audit readiness and uphold the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of analytical results Strategy & Growth Support lab start-up, ramp-up, and regional expansion initiatives Provide technical and commercial input into RFQs, RFPs, and major tenders Align laboratory strategy with corporate objectives and Saudi market dynamics Qualifications Education University degree in a Science related program with a strong preference in Geochemistry or a related field is required Experience 8-10+ years in geochemistry or minerals testing laboratories Minimum 5 years in a senior supervisory / business leadership role Direct exposure to mining projects (exploration, development, production) Demonstrated P&L ownership or clear accountability for revenue and costs Proven business development, contract negotiation, and account growth experience Strong client-facing background (not lab-only) Expert understanding of the mining and minerals value chain Competencies Strong commercial and revenue growth mindset Clear understanding of laboratory economics: volume, margin, utilization, and cost drivers Confident, accountable leadership style with executive presence Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Additional Information
