We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Geography tutor to join our team and take on in-person, 1:1 students in the South Oxfordshire area.
This is a freelance position that offers flexibility and independence, while being part of a supportive, professional team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking tutors who are:

• Experienced in teaching or tutoring Geography at Secondary and GCSE level (A-Level a bonus but not essential).
• Confident in adapting to a variety of learning styles
• Ideally experienced in working with students with SEN.
• Local to South Oxfordshire and available for in-person sessions (no online tutoring).
• Professional, reliable, and engaging.
• Hold a DBS certificate (or willing to obtain one quickly)
• Available to begin as soon as possible.

As one of our tutors, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 Geography tutoring at Secondary and GCSE level (A-Level experience is a great bonus).
• Support students with exam preparation, subject knowledge, and confidence in key geographical concepts.
• Adapt lessons to individual learning needs (SEN experience is highly desirable).
• Communicate progress clearly with parents and the Alpha team.
• Work with professionalism, reliability and genuine care for your students’ success.
