Job Description
Leidos is currently seeking a passionate GEOINT Software Developer, who is looking to make an impact on the world. Our engineering teams are highly adept at solving complex problems with the application of leading-edge technology, empowering the intelligence and war-fighter communities as they make mission-critical decisions. The Engineering team utilizes modern software tools to integrate with external data providers, ingest historical data, and stream in near real time to our user communities.
This GEOINT Software Developer will be providing software development and test engineering support to efforts that maintain geospatial tools in the Fusion Analysis Development Environment (FADE).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of science in Computer Science focusing on software development and 4+ years experience. Additional experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree.
  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI and CI Poly is required.
  • Server-side containerization technologies like Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot or similar.
  • Experience with Java, Python, SQL.
  • Understanding of programming principles, such as object-orientation and use of design patterns.
  • Linux and Windows skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Server-side data technologies like, Hadoop, Accumulo, GeoMesa, Postgres, Elasticsearch; Graphite, Grafana, Kafka, Storm, Flink, Spark.
  • DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, and SonarQube
  • Any experience you have with government contracting, prior or current military service, and customer facing roles.
  • Technical projects from design to production
Responsibilities
  • Write and maintains source code.
  • Create and maintain software applications.
  • Apply frameworks involved in software releases.
  • Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product.
