Description
Department MRM Position Geologist Location Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field. Experience Relevant experience in mechanized mining activities. Exposure to drilling, geological mapping, sampling, and mine-grade control operations are essential. Requirements Strong understanding of geological processes and resource modelling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team. Valid Pakistan Driving Licence and Pit Driving Permit (or willingness to obtain). Proven commitment to safety and ability to demonstrate visible safety leadership. Responsibilities Supervise geological mapping, drilling, logging, and sampling activities. Ensure accurate and timely geological data collection and analysis. Monitor and maintain QA/QC protocols for all geological processes. Design ore and waste grade blocks to support mining operations. Support production planning and site reconciliation processes. Collaborate with internal departments to integrate geological knowledge into operations. Represent the MRM department in planning meetings and cross-functional initiatives. Drive continuous improvement and contribute to a Zero Harm safety culture.
