Job Description OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Geologist - Mine Geology, maintain a grade control system which ensures quality of ore production is obtained as well as the quality and quantity of the ore delivered to the mill. This role will supervise Resource Definition drilling, as well as other sampling and mapping campaigns, to better understand and consequently communicate results to the Mining Tech Services, Mining Management and Process and Surface Operation Teams to effectively inform said teams to make timely and efficient decisions. Key tasks and responsibilities: Documentation of daily underground development advances through face maps and photos and ensures that captured data are uploaded to the network database. Detailed wall mapping and sampling of underground development drives after ground support is completed Maintain underground stockpile tracking database and communicate to operations the status of underground stockpiles Explains and applies the regulation, standard, or policy within the context of their day-to-day work Reports all concerns on regulatory compliance and SHE issues encountered with urgency Encourages participation from all team members, ensuring equal opportunities to contribute Applies ethical principles and values in decision-making processes, ensuring fairness and integrity Actively participates in continuous improvement efforts, offering suggestions and implementing changes to enhance performance Flexibly adjusts to changing team dynamics, roles, and responsibilities Qualifications Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way Bachelor's degree in geology or equivalent 0-4 years of experience as an Operational Underground or Open Pit Geologist PRC Geology License holder or equivalent Philippine Driver's License Proficient in mining software packages such as Leapfrog, Minesight, Surpac, Deswik, and similar tools Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills Results-driven with the ability to consistently deliver on objectives High attention to detail and accuracy Exhibits respectful leadership behaviors Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with departments and stakeholders.
