Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Land and Measured Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading complex surveying projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and detailed survey reports. This role requires a deep understanding of surveying principles, advanced technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, ICES) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land and measured building surveying.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, laser scanners, and drones.
  • Advanced knowledge of CAD software and other surveying tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Leica Cyclone).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce detailed reports.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed land and measured building surveys using the latest surveying equipment and software.
  • Lead and manage surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Produce precise and comprehensive survey reports, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and building measurements.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of survey data using CAD and other relevant software.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored surveying solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in surveying.
