Minimum Requirements:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate geomatics engineering, earth sciences, geography or technical GIS program at an accredited post-secondary institution or equivalent
- You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities:
- Support mapping procedures and spatial analysis
- Assist in reviewing newly acquired data from various sources (satellite, air photo, drone, LIDAR) for correctness and geodetic integrity
- Support and use of geospatial software such as ArcGIS, FME, Geographic Calculator, Global Mapper
- Assist in data loading, management and translation
- Prepare and present reports, and presentations as required
- Create new and maintain existing Python scripts used in GIS solutions
Location and other Key Details:
- This is a 4, 8 or 12-month work term starting in May 2025
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
