You’ll contribute to impactful work shaping subdivisions, SRPRs, topographic surveys, construction layout, municipal infrastructure, and residential/commercial developments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Represent the company in a positive and professional manner. * Prepare clean and detailed survey field notes for collected data and layout. * Apply proper survey methodology and techniques under the guidance of senior field technicians. * Work hands‑on with Trimble survey equipment, survey software, and Leica scanning tools. * Travel and work on projects across the Maritime provinces. * Support field activities for engineering design and legal survey solutions. * Perform other duties as assigned while gaining valuable on‑site experience. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Skills That Set You Apart * Completion or ongoing enrollment in a Geomatics Engineering Technician / Technologist program at an accredited college (or equivalent). * Effective communication skills (oral and written). * Valid New Brunswick driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record. * Interest in field work, data collection, and geomatics technology. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why Choose WSP? Responsibilities
The student will support the delivery of precise field data crucial for engineering design and legal boundary solutions within the Transportation & Infrastructure team. Responsibilities include preparing detailed survey field notes and applying proper survey techniques under supervision while working with specialized equipment.
