REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in Welsh and English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication, organisational, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of Anglesey’s environment, communities, and culture
• Able to work with diverse collaborators and stakeholders
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to sustainability
• Have access to a car as travel around Anglesey and beyond is essential
• Experience with social enterprises is desirable
• Qualification in environmental sciences is welcome but not essential

Prepare grant applications to secure future funding of the Development Officer role.

• Lead in initiatives to promote UNESCO and Welsh Government sustainability objectives
• Develop collaborative projects with local businesses and partners
• Expand educational outreach and create new resources for schools
• Drive dynamic social media campaigns to engage the local community
• Enhance visitor experience through innovative geodiversity trails and information
• Build strategic partnerships locally and regionally, including with other UNESCO entities in Wales.
