THE ROLE:

To support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a Geophysics Support Specialist to provide hands-on geophysical technical support for our users around the globe.
As a member of this team, you will provide hands-on geophysical technical support to ensure that customer inquiries are handled professionally, efficiently, and in a timely manner. The assistance you provide customers will range from license administration issues through to geoscience solution specific issues focusing on Seequent’s AGS suite of geophysical applications – primarily Res2DInv, Res3DInv, Workbench, and SPIA.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Contribute to the delivery of a world class service support facility which provides timely, effective, and professional Education and support to all our users.
• Help customers achieve resolutions to their problems, primarily by email and remote sessions.
• Analyze and triage tickets to help prioritize issues as they come in and ensure they are routed to the correct escalated resource.
• Assist in the creation of Self- Help content such as quick start guides, learning paths, and On-Demand Training materials.
• Collaborate with the escalated technical staff, sales, and development teams to establish suitable service levels for Seequent’s internal staff and customers.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• A bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, or related Geoscience discipline, with a post-graduate qualification highly regarded.
• 2-4 years of experience in a geoscience related or application support role.
• Highly developed customer service skills
• Education or work experience with Seequent/AGS Electromagnetic (EM), Resistivity and Induced Polarization (IP) Geophysics products, or equivalent commercial geophysical products is an asset.
• Proven analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills with a focus on quickly identifying and resolving customer issues.
• Passionate, driven, and motivated to work in a highly technical environment.
