Job Description As part of the Geospatial and Imagery Analysis team at FRONTEX, you will have the following responsibilities: Support Frontex business units with geospatial-related daily tasks within accepted deadlines. Creation and implementation of map templates based on stakeholders’ inputs Map and cartographic products design and implementation. Creation and validation of geospatial data by means of a geographic workflow process and tools. Creation of geo-tools based on model builder or other technology. Geospatial analysis and data integration. Definition and design of geographic dictionaries and taxonomies. Collection and maintenance of geodata. Draft reports and documentation. Advice on best practices, processes, and procedures Participation in meetings with the project teams Qualifications You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience: Bachelor's degree in Geo-information Science, or Earth Observation or similar. Expertise in designing and producing digital maps with geographic data. Expertise in collecting, maintaining and updating geodata, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Experience in analysing, discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data. Producing maps showing spatial distribution from various sources of information. Working knowledge of ArcGIS software and analysis tools. ArcGIS Pro, SQL Geodatabase, SQL language, ArcGIS Enterprise, Python, JavaScript and HTML Fluency in English is mandatory.
