WGI offers a complete Benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD & STD, Life Insurance, 401k with match, PTO, Holidays, HSA with company contribution, Pet insurance, and Employee assistance program. #LI-Onsite Responsibilities General knowledge of field survey procedures & equipment Create & interpret 3D surface models, triangulate irregular network & contours Prepare construction staking data for field crews using construction plan sets Process & interpret survey data collected in field Perform research & gather data for new & ongoing projects Maintain & organize digital & paper survey records Collaborate with project managers & RPLS's regarding projects Interact daily with field crew & provide direction & support for ongoing projects Potential for occasional field work, including site inspections, courthouse research & quality assurance Ability to read, write & interpret legal descriptions, easements & right-of-ways Ability to understand construction plans & general construction principals This position will work cooperatively under the direction of the Market Leaders and Project Surveyors and in relations with several other division professionals in the Austin office Ability to create efficiencies through innovation and technology is a plus Qualifications Associate of Applied Science/Bachelor of Science Degree in Geomatics or equivalent plus 5+ years of experience preferred Minimum of 3+ years surveying experience for infrastructure projects supporting state and local government agencies Familiarity and experience in using MicroStation is required as it relates to supporting all aspects of FLDOT transportation projects is a plus Familiarity and experience in using Civil3D, TopoDOT, TBC, GeoPAK, etc. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
