THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geospatial Engineering Processor to join our team. This newly created role will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of cutting edge geospatial software tools to enable you to process geospatial data to support engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with software like 12d Model, Briscad, AutoCAD, TBC, and Starnet, and the ability to work with various formats of incoming design information. The ability to manage and analyzing point cloud data would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Geospatial Data Processing: Utilize tools like 12d Model, Briscad, and AutoCAD to process and manipulate geospatial data for various engineering projects.
  • Point Cloud Management: It would be an advantage to have the ability to process and analyze point cloud data, extracting key information as needed and ensuring its integration into project designs and analysis.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all processed data, adhering to project specifications and timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and designers to support project goals, providing accurate geospatial data and insights.
  • Reporting: Generate and present geospatial data analysis in clear, concise reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity in data interpretation.

    Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Engineering, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in geospatial data processing or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with other geospatial tools and software is a plus.
  • Proficiency with 12d Model, Briscad, AutoCAD, and Starnet for geospatial data analysis and management. Other software is a plus.
  • An understanding of how the Geospatial Engineering teams carry out their work in the field.
  • Experience working with point clouds—ability to extract, analyze, and apply data to engineering projects would be an advantage
  • Comfortable handling different incoming design information formats, ensuring compatibility and proper integration.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail in analyzing and interpreting geospatial data.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to collaborative team efforts.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines effectively.
