JOB DESCRIPTION: GEOSPATIAL GRAPHIC ARTIST

The Geospatial Graphic Artist will produce high-quality visual products for DHS geospatial operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, GIS, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional design experience.
• 7+ years of experience required without a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and GIS visualization tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with DHS geospatial products.
• Knowledge of cartographic principles.

• Design cartographic products, infographics, and visualizations.
• Enhance geospatial datasets with symbology and styling.
• Support communication materials with geospatial visuals.
• Collaborate with analysts and outreach teams.
• Maintain graphic design templates and standards.
