Responsibilities

WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN MY NEW ROLE?

  • Leading the cascade of company culture, mission, and values within the department while ensuring compliance with regulations and driving safety culture.
  • Taking responsibility for delivering and executing project scope using MGS best practices and standards.
  • Aligning project approach with company behaviours and vision, while managing client relationships and communication.
  • Defining project goals that align with client expectations, protecting MGS’s future goals, values, and strategy.
  • Setting the tone and culture for projects, projecting professionalism, adding value to clients, and building the right team through leadership and mentoring.
  • Overseeing the development of project charters, track KPIs, and ensure effective delivery and reporting.
  • Driving excellence in project delivery, manage commercial contracts, and ensure operational success.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and develop a sales pipeline.
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert for the project and client, advising on best approaches to meet project goals.
  • Working with the team and clients to identify future work, solutions, and business opportunities.
  • Identifying and develop sales opportunities, including cross-selling, within the target market aligned with business strategy.
  • Collaborating with wider company strategy and support functions while leading the development of new processes and the use of technology.
  • Collating client feedback, supporting organizational change initiatives, ensure department KPIs are met, and resolve issues to maintain deadlines and budgets.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • Excellent end-to-end project management experience and skills
  • Degree in surveying (or related field) beneficial
  • Awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental Training – SPA, RAMS, lone working etc
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Membership of RICS / SCSI an advantage
  • Proven experience in performance and operations management, coaching teams
  • Full Irish/EU Manual driving licence
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • BIM / Laser Scanning experience and advantage.
