• Assist the Driller in collecting soil and rock samples for foundation design of buildings, roads, dams, and more
• Load and unload drilling equipment and supplies
• Drive the drill or support truck to sites (must have a clean driving record)
• Set up sampling equipment and collect samples accurately
• Perform heavy lifting (50–80 lbs) and repetitive handling of drilling tools throughout the day
• Keep the work site tidy, including shoveling soil and cleaning equipment
