Job Description AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in Denver, CO: Job Details: Perform geotechnical analysis for the design of tailings and water storage facilities, tailings dams, and other mining infrastructure Perform advanced numerical modeling of tailings dams, including deformation analysis using related geotechnical modeling software Develop MPM code to model and interpolate materials runout behavior Perform geotechnical evaluations including material characterization, seepage, and slope stability among others, using geotechnical software Assist with the development drawings, specifications, and calculation packages Prepare technical reports and presentations of evaluation results for the clients and Review Boards 10% domestic travel required Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week Qualifications Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study with no experience.
