This is a senior-level role, focused on reviewing ground investigation data, advising on technical risks, and supporting both tendering and live projects.
If you have extensive geotechnical experience and enjoy shaping how complex tunnelling and civil engineering projects are delivered, this is an opportunity to take a central role in project planning, risk management, and design assurance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStructE, or equivalent) desirable
• 12+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering (consultancy + contractor-side ideal)
• Strong technical knowledge of soil mechanics, ground risk assessment, and geotechnical design
• Excellent at report review and delivering clear, practical advice
• Strong communicator, able to engage confidently with clients, designers, and site teams
• Happy with Hours: 8am to 5pm in office
• UK Driving Licence
