Job Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in Kuwait. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of geotechnical solutions for diverse infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, conduct thorough site investigations, and deliver innovative engineering solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Perform geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, slopes, and underground structures across various infrastructure projects Develop and execute comprehensive field investigation plans, including soil sampling, testing protocols, and data collection methodologies Conduct site assessments and reviews during conceptual, investigation, and construction phases to identify and resolve complex geotechnical challenges Prepare detailed technical reports and design documentation that communicate complex geotechnical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Utilize geotechnical software packages to perform advanced analysis and modeling Collaborate effectively with engineers from other disciplines on joint proposals and integrated project solutions Manage project scope, schedule, quality, and cost control for assigned geotechnical investigations and design assignments Liaise with clients, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance Conduct laboratory testing analysis and interpret results to inform design decisions Contribute to business development activities by building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in geotechnical engineering Support senior engineers and contribute to the professional development of junior team members through knowledge sharing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline Professional Engineering license or registration (or eligibility for registration in Kuwait or equivalent jurisdiction) Minimum 15 years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering Demonstrated experience designing foundations for infrastructure projects, including buildings, bridges, or transportation systems Strong working knowledge of applicable geotechnical codes, standards, and regulations relevant to the Middle East region and international best practices Proficiency in geotechnical software packages and modeling tools Solid understanding of soil mechanics, foundation analysis, and slope stability principles Experience conducting and managing geotechnical field investigations and site assessments Substantial construction inspection experience with the ability to identify and resolve on-site geotechnical issues Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and controlling budgets Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare technical reports and presentations Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex geotechnical challenges Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across organizational boundaries CAD proficiency and familiarity with technical drawing standards Experience in major infrastructure projects Knowledge of environmental geotechnics and sustainability considerations (preferred) Experience in the Middle East region Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Structures Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Technical Engineering Profession: Geologist I
