Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience for our Georgetown, Delaware office. Primary Responsibilities: Provide task support to the Construction Observation & Testing group Coordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee junior staff with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparation Coordinate and review laboratory testing Complete accurate geotechnical exploration reports Perform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc. Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field of study P.E. or EIT is REQUIRED 4 to 7 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience Own Transportation, valid driver's license and good driving record Enjoy working outdoors NICET, ACI and/or other certifications desired We believe in taking care of our team—professionally, personally, and everything in between.
