Krazan & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer- PE License to join our Tacoma, WA office.
As a Professional Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and overseeing our Geotechnical engineering and construction testing & inspection teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer that values professional development and technical excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • PE or EIT certification in WA (PE preferred)
  • 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple assignments
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities

Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical field investigations and construction site observations to assess soil and foundation conditions
  • Conduct technical reviews of reports, specifications, and construction documents
  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and responses to RFPs/RFQs for new projects
  • Manage multiple geotechnical projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines
  • Oversee and mentor technical staff and field personnel in geotechnical testing and inspecting procedures
  • Analyze soil and foundation data, preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide expert geological insights.
