This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team due to continued growth throughout the UK. The successful candidate will support our thriving Geotechnical offering and work on some exciting projects in sectors such as Energy, Petrochemicals, Manufacturing and Distilling. We have offices located throughout the UK and embrace hybrid / remote working to support our staff’s personal circumstances. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Location: UK office - Central Belt Scotland preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BEng, MEng or MSc qualified in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or related subject.
  • 2-5 year’s experience within the industry (required).
  • Working towards Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

  • Completing geotechnical projects to a high technical quality at various stages of projects.
  • Support desk studies, factual and interpretative reporting.
  • Design, supervise and manage ground investigation.
  • Geotechnical design opportunities, including shallow and deep foundations, retaining solutions, slopes, and temporary works.
  • Project management opportunities from an early career stage.
  • Multidisciplinary project opportunities, including within our Civil and Structural Engineering group, and Geo-sciences team.
  • Production of high quality written, sketch/ drawing and calculation work.
