Geotechnical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION :

You will be part of a dynamic team, working together within multi-disciplinary teams involved in a range of geotechnical / tunnelling projects, and to ensure the development of the business and its members. This role is office based however there will be a requirement to undertake site visits and attend client meetings.

As part of the role, key responsibilities will include:

• Be involved in the delivery of a wide range of engineering projects including deep excavations, MRT/metro and other projects.
• Produce and outline detailed geotechnical design documentation, including reports, engineering sketches, engineering calculations, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
• Provide support to writing project proposals and business development.
• Having an appreciation of the roles of fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects and interfacing and coordinating with them appropriately.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of current technical standards and practices and taking a ‘hands on’ role in technical matters.
• A role in driving to digital strategy within civil engineering.
