Hiring: Geotechnical Engineer Location: Mississippi Oxford 38655, on-site Full-time Qualifications: We are seeking a motivated entry-level Geotechnical Engineer to support geotechnical and construction materials testing projects across a variety of sites, including residential, commercial, educational, and infrastructure projects such as roadways and bridges. Duties and Responsibilities Would Include Assist with the layout of soil boring locations and support field data collection for geotechnical investigations. Help generate boring logs and select samples for laboratory testing Contribute to the preparation of geotechnical reports under supervision Support construction materials testing operations and coordinate with field technicians Perform basic engineering calculations related to soil bearing capacity and foundation systems Review and organise testing data and reports for internal review Requirements: B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering, M.S. preferred. One to three years of geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing consulting experience Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
