    Our client is a very busy and highly-regarded Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering Consultancy with offices across Australia.
    Mid-Senior Geotechnical Engineers should have 3-7+ years of hands-on experience, and be looking for an exciting new career challenge. You will be part of an expanding and dynamic engineering team that contributes to a growing line of the business.
    You will be involved in a wide range of projects across local council works to major transport infrastructure projects, and mining infrastructure. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and prosper in the fast-paced engineering consultancy industry. The salary will be based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly experienced in project management.
  • High efficiency and capacity to work unsupervised in the field and supervise others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to work cohesively within a team driven environment.
  • Have Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) status or evidence of currently progressing it.
  • Degree level qualifications in the field of geotechnical / civil / engineering geology, or similar.
  • An ability to work cohesively within a team driven environment and on your own when required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must hold an Australian manual drivers’ licence.
Responsibilities

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for managing engineering projects, including meeting budgets, client satisfaction, on time and to best practice outcomes.
  • Undertaking geotechnical investigations including planning and completing site works.
  • Preparing fee proposals for new projects.
  • Responsible for designs, models, and reporting, including reviewing the works of other Geotechnical Engineers.
  • Maintaining active client contact on an ongoing basis, liaising with them during the project, and seeking feedback after delivery of work.
  • Ongoing training to update own skills and knowledge.
  • Provides training, development, and support to others.
  • Providing geological/geotechnical professional assistance to other geotechnical personnel.
  • Lead, guide and manage teams and identify opportunities to develop staff.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to team.
  • Other duties that may be required from time to time that are within the incumbent’s competence and experience.
