We are currently seeking to add Geotechnical Technologist for a full-time position in our Vancouver office. Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out drill-based site investigations which include, but are not limited to soil logging during drilling, drill supervision, and performing electric cone penetration testing (CPT). Analysis of CPT/Dilatometer data. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards within the department. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members as needed. Requirements Requirements: Diploma of Technology in Civil Engineering or similar from a Technology Accreditation Canada program Minimum 2 years of experience in geological, geotechnical, civil or related fields Familiar with soil classification Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record and a vehicle. Willingness to travel to job sites within BC for short trips. Preferred Skills: Experience working on projects for clients in the construction industry Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills Ability to manage time effectively and multitask on multiple projects at once.
